Can you fix folded photos with lots of cracks?
Folded photos lose bits of the actual image and in most cases, we can recreate the missing bits. The more folds and tiny cracks, the more delicate work will be needed to restore the picture. Rush service is not available with this type of retouching.
Can you fix red-eye, remove wrinkles & blemishes?
Yes, we can do all that and more. We can minimize aging giving you a fresher appearance. In most
cases, we can even enhance your
bust and narrow your waist. (Yes, we have had requests for this.)
Can you fix dirt, stains, and ink?
Remember we never touch your original photo, slide or negative. Removing dirt, stains, ink, and mould is done on the digital image
made from your scanned photo. In most cases we can creatively restore the image.
Can you fix photos that have turned red or orange?
For some images, we can restore the proper colour to it. When this is not possible, we can remove the red/orange colour and replace it with a soft sepia effect. We can also recolour the image if you tell us what the colours should be. Example, green curtains, dark blue pants, etc.

Can you fix torn photos?
When a photo is torn, there are little missing bits when you put the pieces back together. We can restore those areas. If a piece of the photo is completely missing, in most cases we can creatively recreate it.
 Can you remove the spidery looking things?
That's mould (see example on right). Whether we can restore the image depends on how much and what part of it is covered in mould. We need to see the scanned image to advise you on what's possible to do.
Can you remove unwanted items or people?
For most images, yes, we can remove unwanted things such as: telephone pole behind person looking like it's coming out of the top
of their head; old girlfriend,
ex-wife (ex-husband) from a group photo; messy background behind a person/couple, etc.
We can even combine people
from different images into one image.
Are my originals destroyed?
All photographs, slides and/or negatives are returned to you in their original condition. Retouching is never done on the actual photographs, slides and/or negatives. We work only on the scanned digital images made from them.
